What I do with your details.
This is my own site. If you send me a message it comes to me, and nobody else reads it.
If you use the contact form
The form asks for your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and your message. All four come straight to my inbox at lee@happydaysphoto.co.uk.
The form itself is run by a company called Web3Forms. They pass your message on to me and do nothing else with it. They also note the internet address your phone or computer was using at the time and put it in the email, so I see that as well.
I use what you send only to write back to you and sort out whatever you got in touch about. I will not add you to a mailing list and I will not give your details to anyone else. I keep messages for up to two years after we have finished talking, and longer only if it has become a business record I have to keep.
What the site counts
I count how many people visit, which pages they look at, and which of the links off this site they click, so I know whether anyone is finding it and where they go next. It is a head count and nothing more: no cookies, nothing saved on your phone or computer, no following you around other sites, and no way for me to tell who any single visitor is.
One service does the counting for me: PostHog, whose copy of the figures is stored in the European Union. They are not given a name, an email address or anything else that identifies you, and because nothing is stored on your device, the site cannot tell one visit from the same person apart from a visit by somebody new.
If you would rather not be counted at all, using your browser's private mode will stop it, and so will any of the usual tracker blockers.
Cookies
This site sets none, which is why you are not being asked to accept any.
What you can ask me to do
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I will do it. If you think I have handled your information badly, tell me first and I will try to put it right, and you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, who regulate this in the UK.

This is my own site. Anything to do with school photography bookings, orders or your child's photographs is handled by Happy Days Creative and covered by their own privacy notice, not this one.
